Frank and Emily met in June 2022 at Camp Zelena Dolina in Croatia. Frank was a coach at a sports evangelism camp in Sisak, where Emily was serving as a missionary. During their week at camp, they began getting to know each other which continued after camp when Frank returned to the Netherlands where he is from. About a month after they met, Frank visited Croatia again to ask Emily if she would enter into a relationship with him! God continued to work in their lives and four months later they were engaged! During this process God would call Frank to move to Croatia to join Emily in serving in Sisak where she had been serving full time for 2 years. They got married in June 2023 and moved into their home in Sisak.
